HI I'M AMANDA FOUNDER OF MAPS & MEMORIES TRAVEL CO.
Born & raised in the beautiful Okanagan Valley, I’m now raising my two ones in the same corner of the world. My love for travel began early — from Disney magic & ocean cruises to backpacking across South East Asia, the memories made along the way have shaped who I am.
Now, I help families like yours do the same — without the stress, overwhelm, or late-night Googling.
As a certified travel advisor, I specialize in elevated, family-focused vacations that are as seamless as they are magical. Whether it’s
exploring the world of Disney (Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Aulani, Disney Cruise Line, or Adventures by Disney). STEP ONE: CONNECT
Schedule your complimentary consultation call. In this call, we’ll spend 30–45 minutes chatting about your travel goals, who's coming along, & what you’re hoping to experience. This is your time to share your vision & my time to listen.

STEP TWO: MAKE IT OFFICIAL
Before planning begins, I’ll request:
- A valid passport for each traveler (valid 6+ months beyond return)
- A signed client agreement
- My planning fee
Once these are received, I’ll start designing your family’s personalized itinerary — narrowing down options that fit your needs, style, & schedule. You’ll choose the best fit from hand-picked recommendations

Let the countdown begin! Once you’ve selected your accommodations & experiences, I’ll book & confirm everything. Then, the fun begins! You’ll receive monthly touchpoints filled with destination info, planning tips, & everything you need to get excited (& prepared) for your trip.

Maps & Memories Travel Co. does not book Airbnbs or private vacation rentals.
I prioritize trusted accommodations like hotels, resorts, & cruise lines that offer consistency, safety, & a higher level of service. These partnerships allow me to offer exclusive perks when available, added support, & a more seamless travel experience for your family — something platforms like Airbnb simply can’t guarantee. When you book through me, you’re getting more than a place to stay — you’re getting peace of mind.
WHAT KINDS OF CLIENTS DOES MAPS & MEMORIES TRAVEL CO WORK WITH?
I work with busy families who value personalized service, expert guidance, & seamless travel experiences. My clients understand the value of working with a professional Travel Advisor & are happy to invest in thoughtful planning to save time, reduce stress, & make the most of their vacation. They’re typically planning Disney vacations, 4 or 5-star all-inclusive getaways, or family cruises with Disney Cruise Line or Royal Caribbean. If you care more about ease, comfort, & curated experiences than chasing the lowest price — you’re in the right place.
DOES MAPS & MEMORIES TRAVEL CO BOOK VACATIONS WITH TRAVEL POINTS?
It depends on the type of credit card & how the points are applied. Maps & Memories Travel Co. does not book flights, hotels, or packages directly through loyalty programs or portals (like Aeroplan, Aventura, or Amex Travel), as my booking systems don’t integrate with those platforms — & they often require direct access to your personal login or account. However, if your credit card allows you to redeem points after the purchase is made (by calling or logging in after travel has been charged), you can still earn & apply your points while I handle the booking.
DOES MAPS & MEMORIES TRAVEL CO. CHARGE A PLANNING FEE?
WHAT DO I NEED TO PROVIDE BEFORE WE START PLANNING MY TRIP?
To begin planning your vacation, Maps & Memories Travel Co. requires the following:
- A copy of a valid passport for each traveler (must be valid for at least six months after your return date)
- A signed Terms & Conditions agreement
- Payment of your planning fee
These steps ensure I can advocate for you, protect your travel investment, & meet the entry requirements of your destination. Once these are in place, I can begin crafting a personalized, seamless itinerary for your family.
